We've heard …

  • CDC convened its National HIV Prevention Conference in Atlanta in early December, and AIDS Alliance was well represented.  President and Part D (Title IV) Project Director Alelia Munroe presented on her successes in preventing mother-to-child transmission in Orlando.  Board member Steven Tierney and Title IV Project Director Susan Abramowitz also presented at the conference.  Director of Policy and Government Affairs Diana Bruce and Government Affairs Associate Rachael Dombrowski presented on AIDS Alliance's Positive Youth Project, and Program Associate for Training and Education Candace Webb presented on the Girls 4 Hope Program.

  • Rachael Dombrowski has accepted the position of Assistant Director for Policy and Programs with the American Academy of HIV Medicine, where she will manage its new CDC-funded, routine HIV testing initiative.  AIDS Alliance wishes Rachael well in her new endeavors.
